Magician's Ltd Cookbook contents
In the Magician's Ltd Cookbook Andi Gladwin has served up each trick with the perfect amount of detail so that you can take it from the book, straight into your repertoire. Each one has been expertly illustrated by Rosie Rings (of Channel One fame) and laid out in a clear and consise manner in exactly the way you'd expect from an Andi Gladwin Publication.
We could give you a full explanation of all the tricks that Jack Parker has persuaded his friends to contribute to this fantastic hard backed book, but we wanted to leave some surprises! So, here's just a very small sampling of the 23 tricks you'll find in the Magician's Ltd Cookbook:
Rapid Exchange (Allan Ackerman): The Las Vegas card expert is at his best here! Allan Ackerman shares perhaps the cleanest and best version Jerry Sadowitz's "The More Things Change." Four Jacks are placed in your pocket and magically caused to change places with four Aces. This will end up in many repertoires.
Cooking with Conn and Daley (Doug Conn): "The Last Trick of Dr. Daley" with a big surprise finish. This one's for the sleight of hand guys and as you'd expect from Doug Conn is an absolute killer!
Going Dutch (Luke Dancy): A killer card trick with more moments of magic than your audience desserves! This certainly takes the average pick-a-card trick to a whole new level.
Travel Agent (Peter Duffie): When Peter Duffie tackles a plot, you know he's going to come out with a simple, elegent and powerful solution. This is a fantastic handling of the moving signature, where a spectator's signature jumps from one card to another - with a great presentation too.
Chicago Sandwich (Steve Draun) This totally fooled Jack and I when Steve Draun submitted a video of this. A selected card is caused to vanish in an amazing way then appears between two Jacks in the middle of the deck.
Double Open (Dave Solomon) If you're looking to add an incredibly fooling trick to your act, this is the perfect candidate. It's Dave's latest handling of the Open Prediction plot, but with two participants and two selections. This is incredibly clever.
And many more great routines from 23 fantastic magicians!
